This year, Christmas Eve is on Monday, December 24. Our worship service will take place at 9:00pm, with music and a time for meditation beginning at 8:30pm. Our St. James Choir and Bell Choir will offer selections, along with soloists, and we’ll hear the familiar Scripture passages sharing the Christmas story as we sing our favorite hymns. Our worship will include communion, Silent Night by candlelight, and as usual a jubilant closing chorus of Joy to the World!

Christmas Pageant
Join us on December 23 for our annual Christmas Pageant. This year, our pageant will have a Southwestern twist as we perform The Farolitos of Christmas. The book tells the story of a young girl and her Abuelo (grandfather) during Advent in New Mexico. When Abuelo’s illness means he’s unable to cut wood for the usual Christmas bonfires, they create small paper lanterns (farolitos) instead, which light the way for Christmas pilgrims as they remember the journeys of Mary, Joseph, and the shepherds.
See you there!
Christmas Luncheon
The Hospitality Committee will host our annual Christmas luncheon on Dec. 9 after our regular Sunday morning worship service. Please join us for fun and fellowship as we celebrate the season! There is a sign-up sheet in the narthex, or you can call the office to let us know how many to expect for the meal. There is no cost, just a free will offering. If you would like, feel free to bring a dessert!
