RALLY DAY IS ON ITS WAY SEPTEMBER 11TH WITH MYSTERY ADVENTURE AND MORE

 

Rally day isn’t just for kids. It is for everyone in the church!

During the summer, our many activities and vacations tend to draw members of the congregation away from the rhythm of Sunday worship, Bible study, spiritual development, service, and fellowship. As the summer comes to a close, we draw back together in our common purpose as the body of Christ. We regroup, reaffirm and renew our intensions in tending to the spiritual matters of Christian discipleship. We recommit ourselves to the love of God and neighbor, as we nurture our spirits through worship and the Word. The Adult Sunday School Class will be diving back into the Gospel of John. For the children and teens we have fun and engaging activities planned for a Rally Day Mystery Adventure !

The first day of Children’s Church for the 2016-2017 season will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 during the 10:15 worship service.

All children and teens are welcome!

We will need all of you to help us solve “The Mystery of God’s Love” .

We look forward to seeing everyone!

 

Men’s Breakfast at Shady Maple on September 10th – plan to get to the restaurant at about 7:30 AM in order to beat the rush. Those who would like to car pool can meet in the St James parking lot at 6:40 AM. The restaurant is located just off of Rte 23 at 129 Toddy Drive in East Earl, PA.

 

Prayer Shawl group will start up on Wednesday September 2 at 6:30pm.  We have taken the summer off and rested our nimble fingers to begin a new season!  All are welcome to come and chat with us as we continue to remember our sick and homebound, our sad and recuperating or anyone who needs a touch of kindness brought their way.  We have plenty of needles and yarn for first timers and some good teachers too!
