LITTLE FREE LIBRARY

Little Free Library: On August 28th, during our 9:15 a.m. service, St. James United Church of Christ, located at 321 S. Limerick Road, Limerick, Pa., is dedicating a Little Free Library for use by the community. We give thanks for the hearts that envisioned this and for Russell Brightbill’s hands that crafted this with love. Everyone is free to take a book, read it, keep it, give it away, or return it to the Little Free Library. It is located on the church grounds just off the parking lot, at the beginning of the sidewalk to the outdoor pavilion and prayer labyrinth. May it open a world of wonder and delight to the adults and children in the surrounding neighborhoods and community.

2016 Chicken BBQ

Our Annual Chicken Barbecue will  be August 20th from 4-6pm. We need your  support and help. Profits this year will be given to 50% Main Street Ministries, 25% Orion and 25% Maintenance Reserve Fund. Sign up sheets will be posted soon. If you are going to be on vacation or out of town for the day, maybe you could donate a ticket to a Scout or treat a neighbor or friend. This is our big fund raiser of the year, to be a success we all need to support this event.  Tickets are still $10.00, include 1/2 chicken, potato salad, corn, roll, ice cream, and beverage. BLOOD DRIVE

The summer blood drive with Miller-Keystone is scheduled for July 17th, Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.  Collections will be made in the outside coach which will be located in the parking lot.
