SUMMER WORSHIP

We will be moving out to the pavilion on July 5th. Summer worship will be outside through September 6 starting each Sunday at 9:15am. Please remember to dress appropriately for the weather so that you are comfortable during outdoor worship. The weather will be checked at 8:30am each Sunday (to allow time for set-up), using the Limerick Golf Club data. Temperatures at 85 degrees Fahrenheit or higher; humidity at 90% or higher; or heavy rain will send us back inside for worship. Otherwise (even if it’s sprinkling!) we’ll stay in the pavilion. It can get surprisingly cool and breezy in the pavilion, so bring a jacket or sweater just in case!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Yard Sale Committee is looking for volunteers to help the day of the yard sale on June 27.   We will be selling donuts and coffee in the morning and hot dogs, chips and drinks in the afternoon.  This will start at 7:30 AM and the yard sale ends at 2:00 PM.  If you are able to help for any part of that time it would be greatly appreciated.

We are also looking for donations of cookies and cupcakes to sell.  We will be accepting donations of the other food items being sold or a monetary donation towards the purchase of the food.

We will be allowing vendors ONLY to use our restrooms, which means we are looking for volunteers to take 1/2 hr shifts sitting in the Narthex to be sure they know where the rest room is and people do not wonder anywhere else in the church. Our hope is that the money we are able to raise will help with the cost of our new roof. If you are able to help with either or both of these areas, please let Charlotte Fiedler or Eleanor Wellman know.

MARIE MONVILLE TO VISIT

“When all other lights go out, He still shines!” This became the anthem to Marie’s life when on October 2, 2006, her then husband made a decision to hold an Amish school house hostage, forged while moving through unthinkable circumstances, into the unfathomable love of the Father. On her darkest day, Marie simply chose to believe that HE IS. This act of faith radically propelled her into a future she could not have hopes for or imagined.

Marie ministers the truth of God’s love: it is deep enough to heal any would, strong enough to break all bondage, and it brings life to the broken and light to those in darkness. By cultivating worship In the deepest places of her heart and releasing it before His throne, Marie has found the secret to being “transformed into His likeness with ever increasing glory” (2 Cor 3:18). She will inspire you to dive deep into a passionate, transformative love relationship with God.

Women’s Fellowship is welcoming Marie Monville as our guest speaker at a very special program on Saturday, May 23rd at 9:00am. We believe the tickets will go quickly, so if interested, please see Sandie Fetterman or Cindy Valerio.

Tickets are $12.00, PAYABLE INADVANCE, and include light refreshments after the program. They will be sold on a first come basis, so get yours early. We have opened the sales to several venues. THERE WILL BE NOTICKET SALES AT THE DOOR. Marie has written a book entitled “One Light Still Shines” and will be available for purchase. RECORDING THE EVENT IS PROHIBITED!
