The tradition of joining with St. James Lutheran Church for a Thanksgiving Eve Service returns this year. We will be hosting the service here at St. James UCC, on Wednesday, November 25th, 2015 at 7:00 pm.

SPEAKER ARIEL ROYER
In 2013, Ariel Royer became a Global Mission Intern and traveled to the Middle East to work with UCC partners advocating for and addressing the needs of refugees and other populations suffering from oppression. Four countries and two years later, Ariel is returning to the US and will be sharing her reflections on her experiences at St. James UCC on October 20th at 7 pm. The presentation will include time for discussion & will take place in the Fellowship Hall .
We will be serving light refreshments after Ariel’s talk. There will be a signup sheet the first week of October on the bulletin board asking for donations.
NEIGHBORS IN NEED
The Neighbors in Need offering will be accepted Sunday, October 4th. Throughout September, you have been receiving inserts in the bulletin concerning the various phases of this offering. This offering supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. This also includes the Council for American Indian Ministries (CAIM) and advocacy efforts. 2/3’s of the offering is allocated to Justice and Witness and 1/3 to CAIM.
