Prayer Shawl group will start up on Wednesday September 2 at 6:30pm.  We have taken the summer off and rested our nimble fingers to begin a new season!  All are welcome to come and chat with us as we continue to remember our sick and homebound, our sad and recuperating or anyone who needs a touch of kindness brought their way.  We have plenty of needles and yarn for first timers and some good teachers too!

Our Annual Chicken Barbecue will  be August 15th from 4-6pm. We need your  support and help. Profits this year will be given to Main Street Ministries and  the Roof Fund at St. James. Sign up sheets will be posted soon. If you are going to be on vacation or out of town for the day, maybe you could donate a ticket to a Scout or treat a neighbor or friend. This is our big fund raiser of the year, to be a success we all need to support this event.  Tickets are still $10.00, include 1/2 chicken, potato salad, corn, roll, ice cream, and beverage. The Miller Keystone blood drive will be held Sunday July 19th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be a coach in the parking lot for the collections. A schedule is posted on the bulletin board in the Narthex. Let’s roll up our sleeves for another super response to great need!
