St. James UCC will host the Coventry Community Chorus’ annual spring concert this Friday evening, June 6, 2014 at 7:30 P.M.  The Chorus, now in its fifteenth year, is part of the Owen J. Roberts Adult Night School (currently under the management of the Chester County Night School in West Chester).

Featured in the program will be a variety of pieces including spirituals, folk songs, popular and Broadway tunes.  Composers include George Gershwin, Kirby Shaw and Irving Berlin.  The Director is George D. Myers and the accompanist is Robin Ward.

We will honor ” Men Who Have Made A Difference In Our Lives” by placing their pictures in the showcase. So, please submit pictures, with name(s) and please include  your name and relationship.  These can be given to Ellie Wellman or dropped off in the office.

We’ll join together in celebration on Sunday, June 8 to honor our High School & College Graduates and to pray for them as part of our worship service.
